Captain James “Marty” Hall of Canton Fire Department Laid to Rest Today

Captain James “Marty” Hall of the Canton Fire Department was laid to rest today. The firefighters of Jackson Professional Firefighters, IAFF Local 2280 wish to express our sorrow to the family of Captain Hall and to all of the Canton Fire Department.

Firefighters from the Jackson Fire Department joined the family of Captain Hall, the firefighters of the Canton Fire Department, and friends of Captain Hall in remembering his life. Many Jackson Firefighters were friends to Captain Hall. Captain Hall loved his job, ketchup, but most of all he loved his daughters. Please keep Captain Hall’s family and the Canton Fire Department in your thoughts and prayers.

Jackson Professional Firefighters to Host Ohio Professional Firefighters Association 3rd District Meeting

The Jackson Professional Firefighters will be hosting the Ohio Association of Professional Firefighters 3rd district meeting on April 21, 2009. The OAPFF meeting will be held at the Lake Cable Clubhouse. The price for the event will be $20.00 for active members and $15.00 for retirees.
